:They are not going to add more cost into their parts in the off chance that someone might put them in a 9000+RPM engine.  Yep...stepping outside of normal operating conditions requires a custom rod. This is why they will ask for such parameters as Max RPM, Max HP, Max boost, etc. It would be money wasted to design every rod to handle 9,500 RPM and 35 psi boost
